It's about time we put an end to any myths about cloud storage and explain why it's valuable for nonprofits big or small.
In fact, it's likely that your organization is already storing files (images, documents, data, and so forth) in the cloud. So let's take a closer look at the value of cloud storage and how exactly it can help your organization better achieve its mission
With a successful Technology for Good conference last December 10, TechSoup flew back to Singapore last 21 April to co-host Go Digital, a whole day event from Microsoft comprising of 2 back-to-back half-day sessions on Office 365 and Dynamics 365. As a follow-up event to the larger conference last December, Go Digital focused on giving a deeper discussion about the two product donations through the help of both experts from Microsoft & partners alike.
Excel, the most reliable tool to use for anything that’s related to lists and data. However, as easy as it is to use, Excel’s reliability begins to diminish as soon as our datasets grow. It may be easy for us to manage our inventory of donations for over a month or a year, but once that grows past a certain point, it becomes increasingly difficult for us to actually make sense of an expanding sheet, right?
Data is a valuable ingredient in any operation. For us non-profits, the data that we have can help us determine the type of problems we need to address, where these problems are and what kind of support is necessary.
However, with over 7.5 billion people today and more varieties of problems & concerns than we can count, managing data – let alone finding data – has turned into as much of a challenge as developing and determining our responses to it.
From leave requests to reimbursements and everything in between, we all know how much work is required when such common admin documents are still processed on paper. What’s even worse, these documents can also be causes of inefficiency as these not only cost us money to print, but they can even get lost afterwards.
When we say Data Analysis, it is common for us casual users to initially think about Excel. Quoting one speaker I encountered before, we often 'live in spreadsheets' when it comes to anything related to data, generating libraries worth of spreadsheets for all important sets of information that needs to be recorded.
Dynamics 365 (On-Premises) Server is customer relationship management (CRM) server software that offers tools for storing and analyzing customer records. It is the successor to Dynamics CRM Server and runs on Windows Server. Dynamics 365 (On-Premises) is the on-premises version of the cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 service. This version of Dynamics 365 does not provide all the customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities that are available in the cloud-based service.
